the invitation

The State of Inner Silence

Step into the calm of your own mind at our two-day Vipassana retreat. This stillness brings clarity, deepens self-understanding, and nurtures a lasting sense of inner peace.

Through guided meditation practices, you will gently learn to release the chatter of your thoughts and reconnect with your natural inner balance. The retreat combines both practice and insight, helping you notice how your mind and emotions arise, and how you can engage with them more consciously.

You will also experience the support of a welcoming and understanding community, where questions are encouraged, and guidance is offered throughout your journey.

We warmly welcome you to join this retreat, led by Ajiit, a respected spiritual teacher, founder of the Mauna House community and JIAIDO movement meditation.

why to join?

Two-days Inner Journey

Vipassana meditation is one of the oldest and deepest methods for self-knowledge and inner freedom. Ajiit’s two-day retreat offers the opportunity to understand how the mind works and to experience true inner silence.
This retreat is not about holding the body motionless or enduring physical strain. Its purpose is to develop mindful presence and understanding. Through a balanced combination of practice and insight, the retreat guides you toward inner peace and clarity.

What you can expect during the two days?

  • Learn the basics of meditation practice: acquire foundational techniques to support your journey.
  • Understand how the mind works: see how thoughts and emotions arise and how they influence you.
  • Observe the body and breath: cultivate awareness of physical sensations and breathing.
  • Gradually tune into inner silence: experience a gentle progression toward calm and presence.
  • Practice letting go: exercises to release tension and cultivate ease in body, mind, and emotions.

Why this retreat is special?

key to calmness

True Silence

“There are many ways to practice silence. The absence of verbal or non-verbal communication is a tool to reach a state of inner calm—the silence of the mind—which in Sanskrit is called Mauna.

The goal of silent sitting is to experience the deep peace that arises from this silence. When each action, thought, and emotion manifests from this state, you come to harmony with your true self.”
